Microsoft will block Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 machines sending email to Exchange Online through an inbound OnPremises connector starting the second week of September unless patched to the October 2025 baseline. Other delivery methods remain unaffected. Microsoft Principal Project Manager Nino Bilic said the change would have happened anyway.
