SpaceX Spectrum Deal Slashes Telco Stocks

SpaceX announced an agreement to purchase a nationwide spectrum portfolio from Grain Management on Thursday. The deal includes up to 14 megahertz of paired spectrum in the 800 MHz band. Consequently, Verizon stock fell roughly 7% on Friday, marking its worst day since 2002, while T-Mobile shares dropped 12% and AT&T fell around 10%.
