JCB Hydromax Sets 406 MPH Land Speed Record

The JCB Hydromax set a new FIA world land speed record of 406.320 mph (653.909 km/h) at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The hydrogen-powered car, driven by Andy Green, averaged 400.623 mph and 412.135 mph in two runs, surpassing the previous hydrogen record of 185.5 mph.
