Vitalik Buterin unveils Lean Ethereum priorities

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin named quantum resistance, scalability, and privacy as top priorities under a new Lean Ethereum strawmap. The upgrades will roll out over three to four years, touching nearly every layer of the network. A new virtual machine like leanISA or RISC-V is proposed to support programmable privacy and scalability.
