Rippling filed a lawsuit Monday accusing MCP gateway startup Runlayer of infringing three patents, after Runlayer sued Rippling last month for breach of contract and stealing product ideas. Rippling tested Runlayer's product for nearly a year, then built its own competing MCP server. Runlayer has raised $42 million and was founded by Andrew Berman.
