Palantir CEO Buys 15,000 Hectares of Swedish Forest

Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, bought 15,000 hectares of forest in Härjedalen, Sweden, from paper company SCA AB for 235 million kronor ($22 million). The deal surfaced when local hunters lost their leases. Karp used newly registered Cladonia Skog AB. The purchase comes as European leaders weigh reducing reliance on U.S. technology.
