General Motors announced that the base-model 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray officially reaches 200 miles per hour starting at $73,495. The car uses a new 6.7-liter LS6 V-8 engine producing 535 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque to achieve this speed without the Z51 performance package. This upgrade makes it the cheapest new vehicle capable of hitting double century speeds today while maintaining its base model status.
