HSBC Blocks Banking App in Secure Folders

HSBC silently blocked its Android app from running inside Samsung Secure Folder and Android Private Space, citing security risks. Affected customers lost mobile banking and web access that relied on app-based authentication, with some locked out for 5 to 10 working days while awaiting a physical security key. HSBC says users must open the app outside virtual spaces.
