Longshot Space Technology plans to build a 3,000-foot gun to launch payloads into space. The startup raised about $20 million and currently tests a 70-foot gun near Barstow, California. CEO Mike Grace aims to reach Mach 8 speeds and a price of $50 per kilogram for space access.
