NHTSA Reviews Tesla Robotaxi Speeding Claims

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened a defect petition review on 9 October regarding claims that Tesla robotaxis exceeded speed limits in school zones. The petition covers about 1,000 vehicles including 2026 model year Robotaxi, Model Y and Cybercab units.
