Google AI Studio added an 'import from GitHub' feature to Build mode. The feature transforms a repository into a runtime-compatible format for editing and deployment. Build mode previously required starting from a blank prompt. The GEMINI_API_KEY is kept server-side, so client-side key code requires adjustment.
