Citrix Adds Linux Escape Hatch for Compromised Windows PCs

Citrix's DaaS now includes UniconOS, a hardened Linux-based OS with a write-protected file system isolated from Windows. It uses Secure Boot protections for the shim, bootloader, kernel, and initial RAM filesystem. This helps when ransomware encrypts Windows or a faulty update causes a boot loop.
