Anthropic launches Model Hardware Standard for AI agents

Anthropic announced the Model Hardware Standard (MHS), a set of standardized drivers letting AI agents control physical devices. Initially a research preview for select science, robotics, and manufacturing organizations, MHS is model agnostic and planned for open-sourcing. The company also hired hardware executive Caitlin Kalinowski.
