Benchmarking The BORE Scheduler Performance With CachyOS Linux

CachyOS benchmarks the BORE scheduler on Linux, a burst-oriented response enhancer optimized for responsive workloads. The BORE scheduler uses a burstiness metric derived from task CPU time after yielding, sleep, or IO-wait to dynamically adjust task weights and delays. It prioritizes responsive tasks under varied loads, improving desktop responsiveness over traditional CFS scheduling. On CachyOS, linux-cachyos-bore is the default kernel build with the BORE scheduler patch applied.
