ICE plans no-competition Boston Dynamics robot dog buy

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement posted plans to buy Boston Dynamics Spot robot dogs for $1m to $2m without a competitive tender. The purchase, filed under FAR Subpart 13.5, covers inspection and hazard assessment at Fort Benning, Georgia. ICE also awarded a $16.7m no-bid contract for 6,000 shock-delivering gloves from Compliant Technologies.
