Researchers Boost HTTP Server Speed

Researchers from ETH Zurich, NYU, and NVIDIA present new in-kernel eBPF code for HTTP acceleration. The Rust-based Beeper project offers up to 3.4x throughput gains, while the Hyper Rust HTTP library achieves a maximum 4.5x speedup for application-layer parsing at the Linux Plumbers Conference.
