Anthropic and OpenAI File for IPOs, Race Heats Up

Anthropic filed for a confidential IPO, followed by OpenAI filing a Form S-1 on June 8. Anthropic was founded by former OpenAI executives in 2021. Anthropic raised $65 billion in May for a $965 billion valuation, while OpenAI raised $122 billion in March for an $852 billion valuation.
