Apple HomeView Lacks Native Video Apps
3 min read
Apple HomeView cannot play Apple TV, Apple Books audiobooks, Apple Music Classical, or Apple News+ without an iPhone or iPad. The device lacks an App Store and requires AirPlay for the first three apps, while Apple Music Classical and News+ require subscriptions. This limitation contradicts marketing claims about entertainment and restricts functionality despite the A18 processor.
