UK enforces social media curfews for teens

The UK government will enforce default overnight social media curfews from midnight to 6am for 16 and 17-year-olds, and disable autoplay and infinite scroll by default. Teenagers can opt out. The policy follows a Savanta pilot of over 300 households testing a 9pm to 7am curfew on 13 to 17-year-olds, which found improved sleep and concentration.
