Ethereum's Hegotá upgrade centers on EIP-7805 (FOCIL) and EIP-8141 (Frame Transactions), ranked from 62 proposals by roughly 60 researchers. FOCIL boosts censorship resistance; Frame Transactions enable native account abstraction and post-quantum authentication. Client implementation could begin in late 2026 after Glamsterdam.
