Windows Fast Startup skips full shutdown since 2012

Windows Fast Startup, enabled by default since 2012, hibernates the kernel instead of fully shutting down, causing update and driver bugs. The KB5067036 patch from October 2025 fixed the "Update and Shut Down" option. Disabling the feature requires a few steps.
