Canva Launches Proprietary AI Image Model

Canva releases its first proprietary AI image model, Canva Craft, globally for designers today. The two-stage architecture reasons before generating designs using internal data and user contributions. Early benchmarks place the model fourth overall on DesignArena, trailing OpenAI's ChatGPT Images but beating Google's Nano Banana and Microsoft's MAI-Image models.
