a16z Launches Tuition-Free AI Academy

Andreessen Horowitz has launched the Horowitz Andreessen Academy, a tuition-free one-year fellowship starting Fall 2027 in San Francisco. The program has raised $42M and partners with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Nvidia, Meta, and others. Fellows receive $50,000 in compute credits and a $5,000 travel budget. A two-year paid program is planned for Fall 2028, pending regulatory approval.
