Microsoft is considering spinning off Xbox as a separate entity or restructuring it as a wholly owned subsidiary, according to reports. CEO Satya Nadella and CFO Amy Hood approved a plan by Xbox boss Asha Sharma to increase spending on blockbuster franchises. Revenue has dropped by around $500 million per year.
