India will develop another one lakh semiconductor engineers under Semicon 2.0, Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said. The programme covers chip design, manufacturing, equipment, materials, advanced packaging and R&D. India already trained 85,000 engineers in four years and expanded design programmes across 355 universities.
