Startups rent idle gaming PCs for AI inference

Abu Dhabi-based Far Labs and Austin-based Evolving Edge are building marketplaces to rent idle consumer gaming hardware for AI inference tasks. Far Labs plans to launch its Far AI platform soon, claiming latency of 100 ms or less, while Evolving Edge runs an open beta.
