Ukraine Unveils 1000km Range Drone System

Ukrainian engineers combine 240-year-old balloon tech with the Mara drone to extend range to 1,000km. The Balun aerostat flies 10km high before releasing the drone, which then glides an extra 60km. The system costs up to $6,000 and reportedly struck Crimea and Berdiansk. Commercial production is planned for the middle of October.
