A developer built a Python proxy that gives blind local LLMs like DeepSeek-V4-Flash-0731 vision by using a sidecar vision model to describe images. The proxy intercepts OpenAI-compatible API requests, replaces image blocks with text descriptions, and caches results in SQLite. It runs on two DGX Sparks with Qwen3-VL-4B.
