Meg Whitman: 30 countries, not 120, is the goal

Meg Whitman, former CEO of HP and eBay, said opening offices in 120 countries is not a badge of honor. At HP, 40 countries generated 85% of revenue and 125% of profits. She recommended expanding to around 30 countries, as eBay did, calling excitement about a 60th country sadly misinformed.
