Ubisoft closes Winnipeg office, laying off another 65 staff

Ubisoft closed its Winnipeg studio, laying off 65 employees as part of broader restructuring that could affect up to 380 staff. The studio, opened in 2018, worked on Rainbow Six, Assassin's Creed, and Far Cry. The closure follows the shuttering of Ubisoft Halifax six months ago.
