Anthropic Adds Watermarks to Older Models

Anthropic expands its text watermark rollout to four models, including Claude Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6, to meet the EU AI Act December deadline. While newer models carry the mark by default, users of the older Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6 can dodge it by tweaking sampling parameters like temperature, topp, and topk.
