OpenAI launched Dots, always-on AI agents powered by GPT-6 Astra, at DevDay 2026. Users on Pro, Business Premium, and Enterprise can create Dots in ChatGPT desktop, connect over 4,000 apps, and join a waitlist for iMessage or RCS messaging on Android. Dots run on their own cloud computer and are included in the Pro plan without drawing down usage.
