Google released expanded Pixel VIPs widget designs in the September 2026 Pixel Feature Drop. The update introduces quick actions for single-tap calling and texting, adds glanceable notification badges for urgent messages, and includes a floating overlay navigation menu for swiping between VIP profiles. The improvements are available through the Google Contacts app and are rolling out to Pixel 6 phones and newer.
