Google discontinued both Chromecast with Google TV models in favor of the 2024 TV Streamer, but the author prefers a smaller puck or dongle design. The TV Streamer is a big box with room for improvement, while the older Chromecast shows age with gray-screen launches and slow YouTube loading due to 2GB RAM bottlenecks.
