Cortea raised €12 million in seed funding led by Dawn Capital for AI agents that audit financial reports. The company's AI reviewed over 4,000 audit reports and found issues in every one. Cortea was founded in 2024 by Valentin Neumann and Philipp Hövelmann and is based in Berlin.
