A principal engineer's Obsidian vault for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign accidentally conformed to Google Cloud's Open Knowledge Format spec. Converting 288 notes added type fields and link traversal. Graph-walking after vector search fixed one of two previously unsolvable queries, improving synthesis-tier recall from 0.60 to 0.76.
