Ethereum Sepolia Upgrade Hits 200 Million Gas

Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade activated Tuesday on the Sepolia testnet, raising the processing budget to nearly 200 million gas from about 60 million. Early test blocks used only 26% to 46% of capacity, while a six-minute voting period produced all 32 scheduled blocks with 99.97% stake toward finality. The next Hoodi test is tentatively planned for Oct. 27.
