DOG Mode, an alternative Bitcoin client from developer Leonidas, relaxes default relay policies for Ordinals and Runes transactions without changing consensus rules. The proposal is the philosophical opposite of BIP-110, which sought to tighten rules to curb on-chain data. DOG Mode could fragment the network's mempool and reduce advantages of institutional transaction brokers.
