Public Knowledge filed a friend-of-the-court brief Tuesday in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals arguing Google should be forced to sell Chrome and barred from paying Apple to distribute its search engine. The nonprofit says independent Chrome ownership would open Google's controlled distribution channel.
