CISA warns of cyberattacks disrupting U.S. water utilities

CISA warned of a significant increase in attacks on internet-exposed programmable logic controllers in water systems, after hackers disrupted over 30 Minnesota community water utilities by changing passwords and IP addresses. The agency urged removing exposed operational technology from the internet immediately.
