Apple HomeView will support third-party video apps like YouTube and Netflix if developers add CarPlay support. This policy change in the updated CarPlay Developer Guide removes the need for separate HomeView entitlements. Major players can now list apps on HomeView by supporting CarPlay video, potentially leading to availability before the November 13 launch. Pre-orders start at $289 for select models.
