Nearfield Instruments raises a record $380M chip round

Nearfield Instruments, a Rotterdam firm, raised $380 million in a Series D at a $1.6 billion valuation, the largest deep-tech round in Dutch history. The company builds atomic force microscopes for chip metrology. Fidelity led the deal, with Temasek and the Qatar Investment Authority joining.
