Apple, Qualcomm Renew Global Patent License

Qualcomm announced Apple renewed their global patent licensing agreement, effective April 1, 2027. The original six-year deal, signed in 2019 after a bitter legal battle, was set to expire in March 2027. Qualcomm did not disclose the new agreement's length, and Apple has not commented. The renewal is separate from Apple's modem supply plans.
