Ukiyo app connects South African students to jobs

Ukiyo launched the Global Student Support Platform (GSSP), a free mobile app combining scholarships, job listings, mentorship, and wellness services. The launch addresses South Africa's 60.90% youth unemployment rate for ages 15 to 24 and 3.9 million NEET youth. Founder Nozuko Mzamo cited a shortage of integrated pathways into economic participation.
