WhatsApp phishing attack uses fake business docs to hack PCs

A malware campaign targets WhatsApp users with fake business documents that install ManageEngine Endpoint Central, giving attackers remote system access. The attack spreads across 11 countries, including Brazil, India, and the UK. Compromised accounts send obfuscated VBScript files disguised as financial reports or billing statements.
