Virginia High School Gets Quantum Computer

Skyview High School in Virginia will host the XQ1 quantum computer in January 2026, becoming the first US high school to do so. The $900,000 device from XeedQ contains four qubits and costs less than a welding program. It will initially serve senior physics and math classes before potentially expanding to other Fairfax County students.
