YouTube is hiding the Shorts dislike button (again)

YouTube is testing a Shorts redesign that replaces the like button with a heart button and moves the dislike button to the three-dot menu. The change was first highlighted on Reddit. YouTube previously experimented with hiding the dislike button in 2024 and 2025.
