Confidential Computing Unlocks Sensitive Data for AI

VAST Data has launched DataEnclave, technology that uses hardware-backed confidential computing to let companies run AI models on sensitive data without exposing it to infrastructure operators or model providers. The approach targets banks, pharmaceutical firms and cybersecurity businesses that currently keep valuable datasets away from external AI services over GDPR and intellectual property concerns.
