WEF: AI race shifts to power, edge, resilience

The World Economic Forum reported that the AI infrastructure battle over the next 3-5 years will shift from bigger GPUs to balancing distributed inference, energy constraints, and resilience. Inference demand is growing faster than training, pushing compute to edge nodes and regional data centers. Power, cooling, land, and hardware are now the real bottlenecks.
