India Approves 654 MW Power Exports to Nepal

India has approved electricity exports of up to 654 MW to Nepal for 18 hours daily until December 31. The decision was made despite high domestic power demand. Nepal requested the advance imports to compensate for generation shortfalls caused by recent flash floods.
